Alien Invasion: A Short film

An Alien Invasion?

In this economy?

In our short film Alien Invasion, Chloe and Jane are just a couple of friends who love to argue about nerdy things that don’t matter. What happens if they find out something that might have the greatest impact on humanity since the 1977 release of Star Wars?

Shot over zoom, this short film explores what happens when two young women have to use their knowledge of fantasy worlds to confront a real threat.

We are overjoyed to announce that our film is an official selection for the New Filmmakers NY Second Shorts Fest! It is premiering Tuesday, 8/17 on Facebook Live. You can watch here!

 Behind the Scenes!

Want to hear something nuts? Gracie and Miranda have still never met in real life. They met in an online playwriting class right after the pandemic started, and decided to get together and make things. They shot this by recording a zoom meeting, and all their rehearsals were over zoom too. Cats had to be locked out of the room. Ethernet cords purchased. But it was still a great time!

This is not an alien, this is one of our cats who shamelessly almost ruined a take.

Seen any aliens lately? We’d like to know!
